Almost never. Roof-mounted panels count as a permitted development in England, Scotland and Wales. Listed buildings, conservation areas and flat-roof ground mounts are the exceptions, and we check yours before quoting.
Scaffolding goes up first, then the roof rail system, the panels, and finally the inverter and monitoring. We commission the system, register it with your DNO and walk you through the app before we leave.
